Nuno Montenegro
Nuno Montenegro was born in Lisbon 1970. Architect from the School of Architecture at the Technical University of Lisbon in 1995, having studied In Italy with Vittorio Gregotti and Aldo Rossi, at Instituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (IUAV), in Italy.
Awarded in various international competitions, has been invited to participate in conferences, lectures, seminars and exhibitions worldwide. In 1999 became part of the 90 Generation group, sponsored by the Chamber of Architects. In 2003 he was invited to jury member of the International Competition Europan 7, chaired by Eduardo Souto Moura, and in April 2006 joined the group of international experts for pre-selection Implementations Prize Europan Association. In 2007 won the Second Prize of the International Congress of Madrid, in a final discussion between Luis Mansilla and Emilio Tuñón and Arkitema.
Recently, also dedicate to R&D roles in urban planning, particularly through the project City Induction: a model for formulating, evaluating, and generating urban design.
In 2010 it will be published the ARCHIBOOK 70' by the hand of the TRUE TEAM, with his recent projects.
